Bream on a spinner? WTF?

My uncle got me into bream, it's his favourite fish which has filtered down to me.

It's because they are initially quite tricky to catch, once they move in however you can have a fucking field day.

Everywhere is carp these days, Do love a good tench though.

Bream???

Whatever sinks your float I suppose.

I caught a small skimmer in a gold mepps.spinner on the Norfolk Broads last autum. No idea what that was all about.

https://www.londonanglers.co.uk/

I just joined them as well. £52 absolute bargain I'm hoping.

A lot of river stretches available, that's really my thing, either for chub or pike mostly. The waters are all a bit of a drive but that's what you have to do if you're after a 20lb river pike.

I'm looking for some BREAM lakes, across Essex.

Re: Angling Clubs
BDAC membership is now closed to newbies for 21/22 season.

They have a lot of mixed waters all over Essex. Some are hard work but obviously the more you fish them the more you work them out. In fact one of the reasons I joined them in 2014 over Chelmsford Angling Association (which was my club as a boy) was the fact that their waters looked more appealing to me as non-carper for 95% of the time I'm fishing.

Have a look at Billericay and District

A lot of lakes and rivers all over Essez for not very much money at all, mostly carp but decent silvers and tench in some of the waters.

Re: Angling Clubs
Roeder, Colchester has a decent club - not all commercial stuff.

I'll be joining DEBDEN soon, once it reopens. Was a member with them years back.
